Command:

Whatever it is that you summoned me here for, it better be important. I’m very busy.

Asset 82:

I’m greatly sorry for the inconvenience. I have news you’ll find very interesting.

Command:

And what exactly may that be?

Asset 82:

Someone beat us to them.

Command:

What are you talking about?

Asset 82:

When we went to extract the data from Christopher Vennettilli’s neural implant, all of the data was already gone by the time we found them.

Command:

Was it The Programmer?

Asset 82:

No. The Programmer never behaves like this. We believe that someone else is involved. A third party.

Command:

Just when I thought things couldn’t get worse. Do you know who or what this third party is?”

Asset 82:

Not in the slightest. Whoever this is managed to not only hack into ONI’s mainframe, and erased any possibilities of tracking them, but they also managed to take the soldier’s entire neural history, but also stole an experimental ONI weapon, stole the Master Emerald, kidnapped Sally Acorn, and made themself allies of Michael Vey, and a few others along the way.

Command:

Did X, Cloud, Snake, Riddick, Turok, and the rest of our strike team find them?

Asset 82:

They did. But by the time they found the thieves in some sort space station in the Capricious region, and we lost contact with them.

Command:

So. You steal my allies under my nose, and bring them to the one place I didn’t want them to be? Right in the hands of the Crimson Cowl himself? I would say that that was clever of you, if you weren’t using the account of a now deceased Asset. That’s how you want to play this?

The Examiner:

To be fair, they were never your allies to begin with. But I was wondering how long it would take for you to notice that the person calling you is now dead.

Command:

So. You’re the one causing all the trouble recently?

The Examiner:

The one and only.

Command:

Why? Why go through all of this trouble? What do have to gain from all this? How did you even know about….him?

The Examiner:

You see, I would tell you the answer all of your questions, but you and I both know that you’re not as dull as you’re leading on.

Command:

Try me.

The Examiner:

Look. I primarily put these people in the Crimson Cowl’s hands to put an end to The Programmer before he becomes a greater threat than he already is. I trust him much more than you. Besides. You don’t have to pretend that you are without flaw. The Crimson Cowl stands for honor. You don’t.

Command:

But that’s not the only reason you brought them into his hands.

The Examiner:

Of course not. I also did so to guarantee the rescue of the Master Chief, as well as the Electro clan.

Command:

Is that so? Thank you for telling me what to focus on next.

The Examiner:

Oops! I guess I spoke too soon.

Command:

Are the Spartan and Mutants  in The Programmer’s custody?

The Examiner:

I’m surprised that you don’t already know yourself.

Command:

What exactly is that supposed to mean?

The Examiner:

You know exactly what I mean by that. This isn’t a clash of organizations fighting for what they claim is right. This merely a fracas between a brother, a sister, and a partner.

Command:

It’s not as simple as that.

The Examiner:

Au contraire, my mysterious friend. Documents that describe your battles scream otherwise. It truly is that simple. You just don’t want it to be.

Command:

Is there an actual reason as to why you hacked into my personal channel other than to lecture me?

The Examiner:

Actually yes. I want to warn you.

Command:

Threatening me won’t get you anywhere.

The Examiner:

That’s not what I meant.

Command:

Then what did you mean?

The Examiner:

I take it you’re familiar with the recent energy spikes that are emerging outside the galaxy?

Command:

Yes. The energy from them increases every day. You don’t have warn me about something I already know of.

The Examiner:

I couldn’t agree more. That’s why I’m telling you that they’re portals.

Command:

Did you emerge from one of them?

The Examiner:

Yes. But not by choice.

Command:

You’re warning me of you?

The Examiner:

No! I’m warning you about anything else that might come out of those same portals!

Command:

What’s to be expected?

The Examiner:

If whatever comes out of the portals have hostile intentions, kill them. If they do not, don’t.

Command:

Why are you telling me this?

The Examiner:

The universe houses more things than just you and me. I think those things are going to introduce themselves to us real soon.

Yes! My second cycle is done! Before I begin the third narration cycle, expect to see a synopsis on all of the races that will be included in this massive story.
